im at the mercy of shampoo ╥﹏╥ what shampoo does is strip the oil away by attaching itself to the oils and will be rinsed away with water. bc the oils are gone your body will replenish them faster so itll be a cycle of stripping and replacing the oil. theres some people who decide not to use shampoo bc of this problem- doesnt mean their hair is dirty and whatnot
the routine of showering regularly with shampoo and soap came pretty recently, about a 100 years ago. we technically never needed shampoo
