So Poli ends up getting together with the doctor much to the dismay of the Emperor. However, he wants her to be happy and just remains a broody boy. She's just beaming with happiness. The two knights from the beginning come back and tell him that the doctor is basically going to give her title away to his bastard son. The Emperor takes Poli to the city to see it all and she chops his manhood off.
The Emperor and Poli then start back to the normal city but stop at an inn where they get blasted drunk and bang.
So getting there but still a lot left to go before then

I actually read the novel but I assume this will follow it for the most part. They definitely made the Emperor more sympathetic here instead of in the novel
So when exactly is their relationship going to develop? My heart can't take more of this. Its not even slow burn.
