I personally think noe x vanitas is never gonna happen due to them just developing as friends and vanitas x jeanne which is mutal. And if you watch the anime and see the intro it can be a Lil misleading and I think some people just want representation

I never said shipping = fetishizing. I said ppl who ship any characters in a wlw/mlm for the sole sake of being yaoi/yuri lovers (the straight ones) are weird. I’m part of the LGBT and this is coming from a widely shared opinion that some ppl push on the mlm agenda for two random characters just bc they fetishize the idea of “yaoi love” (not gay or LGBT but those who solely sexualize us). But I do understand if some ppl wanted recognition which is totally fine but those ppl aren’t included when I talked about ppl who fetishize gay relationships and shove it down everyone’s throat and hate on characters who “ruin” their ships (like ppl who hate on Jeanne bc shes in the way of Noe x Vanitas)

That "widely shared opinion" mainly comes from homophobia and dudebros hating on ANY mlm ships. For them, wlw isn't an issue because they fetishize it, but hate on mlm ships because it isn't "hot" to them. The anime community is notorious for shitting on gay ships because the vast majority of them are straight men.
Honestly to me Vanitas and Jeanne makes more sense to be than Noe and Domi. Whether you like it or not Jeanne obviously likes Vanitas and came to terms w it and Vanitas seems like he has an attraction or some curious feelings towards Jeanne, whether they’re fleeting or genuine is a bit unclear it’s obvious that something is there. Whereas Noe and Domi is one sided, it’s hinted throughout that Domi has a crush on Noe but I think Noé doesn’t see Domi anything beyond a sister figure and someone he feels like he has to protect due to his guilt. Even in all of their blood sucking scenes, compared to Vanitas who shows physical attraction towards Jeanne, all we see Noe feel is comfort, in being able to drink blood w/o having to be feared for looking into her memories. Also I don’t think Vanitas holds any romantic interest in Noe, true he first started his relationship w Jeanne bc of Noe and Domi I think they just proved to be a inquiry for him, he wanted to see if something like blood sucking can really bring ppl closer/make you feel better. But I do think Noé holds some interest towards Vanitas, whether it’s platonic or romantic, but if Noé or Vanitas was the opposite gender, I feel like all of Noe’s actions (like his jealousy and confessions) would’ve been viewed in a romantic way. Although there isn’t any grounds for a relationship between Vanitas and noe, I don’t think them having one would take away from the plot but I do believe it’s stupid for ppl to push that idea just for the sake of fetishizing mlm relationships bc of bl/yaoi.
