Spoilers: You forgot to mention how Sir Paul rushes to his majesty to comfort him when Rebecca dies, but he yells at her or tells her to go away I think b/c he couldn’t resist himself but that ultimately pushes Sir Paul to the doctor even more. She’s feels lonely & returns to an empty house, like it so sad b/c she lost a best friend too. I think that’s why he pushed her away if I remember correctly b/c he did want her to comfort him but she doesn’t see him like that & his dead wife was her best friend.
So heart breaking, even the emperors later realizes he hurt her. Which not to mention that the doctor is an asshole that’s not only using sir Paul but is trying to make his “bastard” son (that’s what children out of wedlock were called) her heir, she’s not even aware he has a kid

Yea, I think she was maybe the one who exposed her father. Inspired by Pualiana's words a few chapters ago. I don't think she directly assisted, but she knew about the plans maybe, which was probably related to her position as one of the emperor's wives.
