Bro I don't get the hype about liver I once tried to taste the goat's liver dish kind of thing (it was 'mutton kaleji') it tasted disgusting like seriously I hated it
I don't see how human's liver would taste any better

    Who knows... I'm sure it must be due to some mystical symbolism associated with the liver in East Asian medicine, but I haven't been able to confirm it. I heard that to the ancient Greeks the liver represented the consciousness, though. THe fox's habit here in this story is based on the typical myth about Kumiho and other types of evil fox spirits loving to eat human livers, though there are plenty of other evil supernatural creatures in *Asian* folklore who love it too... It's not even just in Asian folklore: there was also a native american mythological monster who ate livers, I think, and the Scottish kelpie (a black horse-like creature also able to adopt human form) sometimes eats only human livers, and sometimes it eats everything else in the human body, BUT livers...
