Yup he's evil and thats what makes it more beautiful tbh. He's not hiding his intentions and his personality anymore. The fact that he was a sore loser and cool wannabe then changed into psychopath who doesn't care about what others think anymore is the best development. it was mirrored how Daniel overcome his fear and accepting himself.
