The point of the chapter isn’t “friendship beats all” it may be a trope but it’s a trope for a reason. He would never hurt them and they aren’t trying to hurt him everything they are doing is to restrain him and if they were doing it without the monologue it would just be a rescue mission. Momo literally said that’s what they’re here to do he looks like he’s about to drop dead they're talking because they know their words will affect him because of who he is the “friendship” argument is just dumb because that’s also who they are they’re kids how else are they supposed to communicate they trust him and want him to come back one for all has never been beaten by one person alone even with all those quirks he’s just one person against all the villains in Japan. It’s sad the moment emotions get added into something people turn away because it’s “ cliché or takes away from the action”

    I agree with you... thats how the author wants to express that even if you are the most powerful person you would still need someone to rely on whether they are friends or lover or family, you cant do everything alone, all of them are trying to help him that he doesn't have to burden himself alone, everyone can support him in some way thats how in the big fight you win...
