it's not perfect imo and has some problems, but it was sort of expected, and followed through with the themes set in place before. People who say that it ruined eren's character- i HEAVILY disagree.

We all know that eren was buried in the tree right? And that tree eventually grew bigger and bigger, but what if that tree is where eren was buried
and we all also know that YMIR FRITZ got her powers to a tree similar to erens grave
The tree is also different than all the other trees meaning that in order for the tree to grow that big it would need the founding titans dead body buried underneath it
So if thats the case it also means that the tree where YMIR FRITZ got the titan powers was also a grave of another dead founding titan shifter
Then that supports the claim that there was previous founders than YMIR FRITZ

It opens up to the fact that before YMIR FRITZ even got her powers there was previous shifters before her and when she obtain that power in the massive tree that tree was a grave of the previous founding titan where the previous generation shifters ERA ended
Because the tree are massive than all the other trees it grew up with, the massive growth of that tree is an indication of the founding titans grave which explains why that tree and the tree YMIR Fritz got her powers from is Very Similar
