My one regret in anime and manga is getting used to age gaps like this and growing up on this. Like I was young with Shugo Chara young young so didn’t see anything wrong with my ship AMU x Ikuto. Everyone also back then loved Sebastian and Ciel. It was normalized and I think damaging.
First, a lot of us started reading yaoi/getting into rated anime way too young and that shit graphic asf. I was able to separate reality and fiction until certain age until it dawned on me like wtf is this really. I also came across YouTube video exploring this genre in Japan and it’s harm…. Someone should of put child protection on my phone back then bc I was all over the internet. I’m healing now and I get ppl can separate reality and fiction. Unless there is greater theme and psychological exploration like Haradas Nii Chan. This is just questioning, this isn’t as bad as Sayonora Alpha though which I found cute but even back then hard to read with certain scenes.
