Like girl how are you gonna let the at affect you and if you don’t want illegal issues, why not print the work. It’s sorta expect these issues will arise and she needs a team or someone else to handle it because clearly she doesn’t know.

I’m an artist and almost every fellow artist I met has fragile mindsets especially when it comes to their work. I guess it’s your first time encountering something like this, but this is very common amongst us working in artistic/creative field esp when we are super under appreciated already.
And u shouldnt say that she just can't say that loosely because need i remind you that it's her livelihood on the line??? She could be literally going broke because the money thats supposed to be for her when che created her comics are going to the admins of illegal sites like mangago. If you were in her situation, ofc you'd feel like shit.
