You are right, and even so, if illegal means could be supressed, Disney and such would've done it. I never buy first for example and purchase 80% of what I read and watch, physical copies included. Games, Books, comics, manga, films. but I always check illegaly first, honestly it's my hard earned money. If something is good and availlable in my country I pay for it. But from the authors doing a fuss, I discontinued my reading and purchasing, because there are a lot of ways to do things, this is not the best one. There are authors uploading here for traffic, they know their stuff!
I understand your point too, I do the same especially with my mangas! And I’m actually watching Loki illegally right now lol. I won’t purchase Disney+ because I know I will not watch something else on it or rarely. But if I consume a lot of something I like to actually pay for it, for exemple crunchyroll. I know the money I’m investing is worth every penny because I consume it a lot and it’s very cheap. But lezhin? I feel like it’s a waste of money with how much it cost you know. I do read a lot of their work illegally and that’s why I would be willing to buy for a reasonable price, which is not it right now. If mangago goes I will be always be trying to find something better that’s for sure. Also I think the app manta would be something people would be willing to pay because it’s a monthly pay and not a chapter pay
Yeah, I pay crunchyroll, netflix, Disney +, Amazon prime, Renta is reasonable, futekyia, but lezhin, and other biggies oof, I pay so much for chapters is ridiculous.
i agree with this !! im fine if its a monthly subscription and u can read as many manhwa as u want instead of paying for one chapter only.. thats why i only pay for manhwas i TRULY love after reading it here first. i dont want to feel regret after spending so much money on a manhwa but the story is not to my liking & its super short like only 5 pages per chapter,, i feel like thats not worth it :(
I feel like if lezhin decided to make a price like Netflix for each month people would actually buy from them, 3$ for a baby chapters as a broke person it is too much for me especially since there’s more than one that I want to read
