No, it's just ci nian doesn't tell qu cheng that he is pregnant till the very end. If i'm not remember it wrong, ci nian doubting should he keep the baby or not. But in the end qu cheng know that ci nian pregnant, and the baby born. Cmiiw cause it's been so long since i read that novel
