Im not sure about the flashback but the way I understood it the baron was worried about it getting public that the family has a rare painting because of robbers or other bad guys but also because he still wants to look into their house (because ist belonged to his gandmother)
he seem torn between his pure feelings and his financial interrest
also if they get lots of money they wont need his help anymore...
I'm assuming its Ashley father.....because he said those style is rare only few of them could be seen but inside their house all of the arts are the same artist it seems ... and it's the one that can be seen anywhere
But he’s been gone for a while and the both ML’s are in the painting. Right? Correct me if I’m wrong but I feel like I saw them in the picnic scene

YEah thats what i mean the picnic scene is a little weird they just recently had a picnic together no way it already appeared in a painting.... and the girls are poor I pretty sure they arent going around buying paintings. so why is a painting of themand a recent even in the house.... so the picnic scene cant be in the painting but why did he think back to that moment... and what reason did he tell the prince to look again.... the prince already agreed it was a kyle orininal

what was wrong with it? in ch 26 the baron asked the prince to look again then decided to hide the painting... THen he mentions something about the girls living in the mansion alone...... what did the painting show? it looked like it had them drawn into the picture hen they had their picnic but that wouldn't make sense because that would mean the paint would have been created and bought very recently..... or does he mean that the painting is authentic and leaving it at the girls mansion could be dangerous for them..... but why was there a flashback of the picnic
