I'm waiting for that also. I have ready way too much BL with similar themes so I knew there are probably many misunderstanding in their past life. Though that does not excuse the ML's action but I feel like once it is revealed then we could at least understand why he acted that way.

Like we only get glimpses of him being bad but we don't really see the full picture, bet the ML really did like and care about the Mc but he was raised as a spoiled brat and the Mc didn't really did what he did now(which is taught him manners and to be a better person and say what's on his mind) and only healed him and that's it. So what the Mc did now is really good cuz he did change the past in some way ╮(￣▽￣)╭
well they already explained why he slit his child throat and call uke his hobby, there is a difference between jins and humans, different language and culture. I mean seme was always in position of power and privilege so ofc he would lack human empathy

That's right all of you, it just conflicting my opinion on the emperor, since he was described by the MC and Goddess ,but I also think he was lacking some emotions to begin with since he grew up differently.
