Yeah… nah. lmao theres a whole history surrounding the gyaru subculture that involves rebellion and politics (basically people dress this way bc its the complete opposite to japanese beauty ideals) and theres a lot of bad stereotypes surrounding gyarus in japan such as that they’re promiscuous and gang members
There are ole ty of different types of gyaru’s, it’s actually really cool how many different sub cultures there are. Also gyarus who overly tan (not a basic tan, normal tasks are fine) don’t do it for rebellion from what I’ve heard actual Japanese people talk about it just for aesthetic reasons and isn’t okay. Look into gyarus and look at how many different types there are!!
