I thought the same thing lol I feel like the fact that she had a past life was only to make her a smart baby but I feel she couldve just been a smart baby without being reincarnated plus it just adds more emotional distress/baggage including the shit she goes thru for "being Erin"

It might have been a nice story if maybe it wasn’t fantasy genre and she never died lived in earth and her life trying to get away from her aunt and trying to have a good life
