Agree, he shouldve just picked up the phone call in front of the other guy (why hide?) and tell the truth to MC. The very fact he felt the need to hide his lover call from the other dude is enough reason to get angry, on top of that there is also the lie so... very cunning of MC to "test" ML with the phone call hahahah
I know everything is a misunderstanding but I don't understand why Qu Cheng had to keep everything a secret. He reasons out in the next chapters that he did it because he thought it wasn't an important thing to discuss about since he truly loves Cinian but that doesn't negate the fact that he lied, and Cinian seeing this is hurt. He had been betrayed and lied his whole life. I know Qu Cheng wanted to end things with YueYue quietly and that he respects the gang he belongs and the bond they had that's why he talked to Yueyue. He ended it there but I'd also like to mention that Yueyue, when an ex tells you its over, its over. Don't go texting people after they had made it clear they are done with whatever you have. And you Qu Cheng, if you really didn't want any misunderstanding, Don't delete messages and leave vague replies for Cinian to read. Tsk. Cinian, don't forgive him easily. If you want us to beat him up we will gladly do so.
