Actually in the novel, Jiho was the ML. HOWEVER... Lot of people were not agreeing with such an ending. And since the cover right now is Chunyoung, everyone is still hoping for a different ending for the webtoon. Hopes aren't forbidden after all.

So lot of us who saw spoilers are still following the webtoon just to know if the manhwa's artist will change the end game. Because we all wish for it.

Jiho is the ML because he deserves it, since the beginning I know that Chun Young isn't the ML because I don't see any ML doings from him.. but I love him, really really love but for me Jiho deserves the ML title.. some of you don't like the endgame of Dan-I but some of use who sees Jiho's worth as an ML is so happy because most of Dan-I's struggles or problem was being splved or overthink by Jiho, period.

If you don't like the ML then drop it, no one's forcing you to read it anyways.
