Won’t she go back when she dies? It would hurt too much to fall in love with him, knowing that in just a couple of months there is not a single way for them to ever meet again. So i can understand why she would want to distance herself, i would probably do the same if a know there is going to be an after for me without him.

But let’s be real. There is probably going to be a way for them to be together, altough the characters doesn’t know that

I think you're missing the point. She doesn't want to enjoy it because she knows she's going to be forced to leave and ultimately end up alone. She doesn't want to get too used to things then have to cope with having to rely only on herself again. So while she is enjoying meals and the pampered treatment, she accepts what she gets but won't seek more out for the aforementioned reasons due to the fear of not being able to adjust afterwards.

boi wtf… you sound like one of those people.. anyways. yea its true she has a lot of things but she also feels burdened because shes not used to it. also, the fact that it sounds like he’s controlling her. clea wanted to go there but he didn’t let her (i understand why) but that doesn’t excuse the fact that shes a person of her own. if she relies on him forever, she’ll never know how to actually live like a person.

Sooo him being concerned for her well being is concerning? I understand those types of things would be very hard to get used to however I’m saying enjoy the little things. She is cared for (not materialistic) and not alone in her struggle.
