age/size difference can be portrayed without making the uke look like a kid. Yul literally looks around 10 years old half the time now. if someone saw the scene of him sitting on Luan’s lap with no context, they’d probably think Yul was his son. the previous art style still showed the age/size difference but was still able to make Yul look like a young adult. the author is making him look like a little kid now intentionally or not, and it’s disappointing for readers like me who were here from the very first chapter because i was excited for their relationship development but now some of their interactions just don’t hit because one of them looks like he’s not even a teenager
art styles change, get over that. I also read this manhwa since the first chapter was released and I didn’t see any problem with the art changes until I saw the comments. if you can’t get over the art changes that happened A LONG TIME AGO, stop reading the manhwa. it’s as simple as that. I don’t why y’all continue reading something just to keep hating it in the comments
i read and watch plenty of manga and anime, which is exactly why i said that younger characters can be portrayed looking young without making them look like children. i think hinata is like 15 at the start of haikyuu, he’s small and young but still looks older than Yul. anyway, i just wanted to respond to the original commenter so i guess we’ll agree to disagree.
Idk, I think its just mob mentality with this "the uke literally looks like a child!" Thing. I mean it IS a yaoi thing where the uke is usually drawn to look younger than the seme, even if they are both high-school students like in the school life genre. Plus I'm sure he is tiny because the Lukas guy barely used to feed Yun and Yun was barely let outside considering even he didn't know the passcode to his own house. So Yun is literally malnourished all his life so im sure if anything that stunted his growth a bit.
