I agree with you, i don't think that he is happy now bc he has a trauma for his whole life, but how you said he never was in love and didn't enjoy his life, but now i think that these two guys will heal his wounds or just will make him feel better
I don’t think they mean they’re glad that happened to him…I think they’re trying to say that they’re glad he’s finding himself as an outcome to his traumatic experience
He couldn’t have found happiness without going through all that.maybe later down the road he would have gotten a divorce and found a woman he truly loved, happens all the time. Saying that the kidnapping and torture he had to go through was good for him is weird

Ummm… I never said that it was good for him because I don’t think that at all. What I was saying is I think the comment was misinterpreted. I was stating that it’s good that even though he experienced that at least he is now more open with himself…nobody deserves to go through that to find themselves
I honestly think this was the best for him. Like yes, he had to go through all that shit just bc of that little brother, but he's way more happier now, he i s actuallu falling in love. Like ik b4 it was much more easier, but he wasn't in love. So now, at least, he's happy?
