I'm sorry but I think it's stupid as hell to expect authors to not be upset at illegal uploads, like the thread is suggesting. These ppl are WORKING and so they need money, and it's dumb to hold that against them

Yes, I understand that. The thread was giving examples of how some authors were grateful to those who translate their work for the exposure which, in return, has spread like wildfire (adds more income/money ofc).
What I wanted to say is that although they're upset of illegal sites uploading their works, it doesn't mean that they could act rudely not just to the uploaders, but also to the readers.
