Yes she's boring no expression no emotion and it makes every action she does in this story lifeless and dull. They just tried to hard to make her cold and unbothered and its just not giving right now.

yeaa ngl i agree with u, i wont be expecting her to be all sweet n cheerful but girl at least smile a bit even just a little laugh is acceptable
She doesn't even have to be gleeful... my girl shows no emotion she dont even be angry just dead inside bro you can argue about the realistics of whatever but from like surface level writing skills from reader and author pov its boring no one expects this from a exciting fantasy romanced genred story the author tried too hard to make mc this cool cold protagonist who doesn't care and unfortunately any reader below surface level will see how it affects tone of story the mc has no depth or character or charm to her. Its very hard to get attached to her which is horrible for writer... dont really feel anything for her except sympathy cant even get excited for her accomplishments or satisfied at her face slapping because she isn't .....

What else is she supposed to do I would be dead inside too if my family was literally shit, her personality will clearly grow as the story goes on of course I mean she still at that shitty place u cant really expect to see smiles flying everywhere at the moment

Anyway! I dont really understand why you guys try so hard to counter opinions that don't align with yours I said what I said and that just how I feel shes too dull her coldness seems forced by the author and its affecting the tone of the story everything she does has no emotions to it she's saves a dying kid... its just like ok.. she almost kills her dad its just like ok... I want a personality for any mc not being able to get attached to an mc is horrible for author.

The Mc personality is too dull they tried to make her look cool and cold/nonchalant but its really affecting the tone of the story also its Too Dull imo
