Why? Is it bad
No not really, but jenette acts COMPLETELY different in the novel, at this point she should have turned evil
I didn't mind that they tried to make her a bit more sympathetic, but the fact that the ones who adapted the story that is focused on Athy/Claude/Lucas, dedicated 40+ ch to Jennette (just because they liked her) and cut out heavy character development for Athy is just ridiculous.
Truth be told, I didn't care about what would happen to jenette, but now I want her to have a bad ending, and that's on the author/adapter. In trying to force the readers to like/sympathize with Jennette, a lot of people just ended up hating her more than the original one from the novel. My opinion, of course.
Honestly hope the ending is different from the novel!
