her dad basically had begged the prince to take care of her ( like take her out???? ) and the prince agreed so when the dad gave juve the knife, it was for protection for when she would escape but ofc she misunderstood and thought it would be so she could k!ll herself and when she saw the prince she thought that he would torture her and so blah blah the dad goes crazy and commits a whole genocide. lol .

.the father, when he "imprisoned" her, he gave her a knife, and when Max went to "interrogate her" I think he was going to take out her, since her father (Max's teacher) asked him for it, and when she heard what he said. To the guard, misunderstood everything and committed suicide ...
The knife -i think- was for self-defense when they escaped (?
