The fact that so many people reading this don't know what psychological horror is and how SH's mental illness developed from abuse that he suffered as a child...

NK plays a very important role in SH's life, for he is the person who will teach him how to express emotions, and quite frankly, how to be human. NK is a strong character, he endures all the suffering and abuse he's being inflicted on by a man who has never known affection and is confused by his feelings for NK. SH had a full on panic attack when he realized he had punished NK wrongfully after finding out that he didn't run away and was actually kidnapped.

I know many readers only focus on the rape and abuse and use that to talk badly about this story, but if anything, this manhwa realistically depicts social ranks of that era and also showcases a form of severe mental illness caused by childhood trauma and what effects it has on the mind and body of the grown adult, as well as his ability to socialize. SH grew up to become a sociopath and his relationship with NK is slowly teaching him what is actually right and what is wrong. Mr. Kim is also one of the key characters in SH's life, but unlike NK who has to deal with SH's temper physically, Mr. Kim acts more like SH's advisor in that he continuously gives him subtle clues on how he *should* act upon his feelings in a more rational way. Sometimes he listens to him, other times he's so blinded by rage that it's impossible for him. Nonetheless, he has become more likely to follow Mr. Kim's advice as of lately.

It would be wrong to view this story as purely BL/yaoi. If you're only here for the smut, I'm sorry to inform you that there's actual plot here :) but alas, I'm just rambling a little because this story fascinates me so much from a psychological standpoint.

A piece of advice I'd like to give to fellow BL enthusiasts:
If you start reading something and it contains scenes that make you uncomfortable, immediately stop. Idc if you find the art mesmerizing or if the main characters are hot.... just drop it immediately, tell yourself "this isn't my genre of preference" and move on. No need to ruin it for others.

EDIT:

I wanna add to this that I'm against romanticizing such relationships irl!!! The social ranks might be depicted realistically, but the relationship between SH and NK is anything but realistic, I hope readers who support this story also understand this and won't use it as some kind of f*cked up example for justifying abuse. What SH is doing to NK is WRONG. The whole point of the story is about how his behavior is wrong. Hence the label "sociopath". Sociopaths don't understand the flaws in their harmful behavior. I'm very curious to see how this story develops and if the author plans on showing us SH's healing process (aka what yall call "character development" haha).

I love you( If I could I would hug you tight), you said everything I wanted to specially the Era and class thing, that is one thing I love about this webtoon, the author did such a great job at this portrayal, we should remember that not only is Seungho a noble, Nakyum is an orphan brought up by Kisaeng, so its obvious Seungho who is used being thought as a "superior being " and is messed up with trauma (and it's bad, definitely bad) will obviously treat Nakyum bad ( though I must say he treated Nakyum really well from the start except when his temper got the best of him).
And another thing is the plot, this isn't like many other yaois, sure it's got tons of smut scenes but the focus on the plot is always there and it has such detailed plot line that without doubt I can say it's one of the best written webtoons out there (I'll definitely rate this as one). And the character development isn't abrupt its gradual and really well done for all the characters.
This ones more than a yaoi, it's a marvelous story.

Yeah totally agree! There's definitely more to it than just smut, all the sex scenes were appropriately placed to fit the circumstances and the scenarios taking place. SH's facial expressions are also very important and worth analyzing, since he can't properly express himself verbally.

Yes this manhwa would be better named a psychological weird relationship than a bl or mlm relationship. Since this focuses on the crazy and weird rather than a relationship.
