I'd hardly say Jean's over protective since, if she'd sooner or later get targeted by the tyrannical emperor, then if she happened to get taken, tortured and interrogated she might be forced to snitch on his guild's involvement, getting Jean killed along with many others from the guild.
Lol I thought people in the comments would be all like “omfg Jean is so hottt” or “Jean isss daddy” (that would’ve pissed me off) but I’m glad people are seeing him as an annoying over protective bitch. Like I swear to god can he just help them and put his feelings aside!!! I didn’t really like him from the start because I knew he would be an obstacle in Adele’s and hexions relationship. Ughhhh
