Sums it all up! I just salute Choa being so being so strong after all the tragic things Mujin put him through. I cried for Choa so many times it so hard to read comments of him being a slut...

choa was raped and physically abused by biryu, who then caused him to get BRAIN DAMAGE to the point he doesn’t know who he is anymore. biryu convincing choa they are in a loving relationship and having sex with him after is 1. grooming 2. rape. rape because obviously choa does not have the mental capacity to give consent, and any consent given by choa is in the context of lies - therefore any consent is invalid. grooming because sura has taken a brain-damaged man with no memories and groomed him into his ‘lover’ (who is happy to perform sexual actions with him).
and about this ridiculous ‘choa is a slut’ - shut up. before biryu attacked him he did not show interest in sleeping with ANY of the dozens of men in his village that wanted him - he was by no means a sexual man until he met biryu (who he actually had feelings for). choa’s brain damage & amnesia probably meant he developed an emotional attachment to biryu (the only person to be with him and take care of him). being with biryu feels like comfort and safety to him. biryu fucking him whenever possible has also created a link in choa’s addled brain between sex and comfort/safety. all in all, choa getting attached easily to people like baelang/wanting to have sex is TYPICAL BEHAVIOUR OF A VICTIM OF SEXUAL/PHYSICAL TRAUMA (not to mention this is on top of amnesia)!!!!!
even IF choa did not have a compromised mental state, he is NOT cheating by sleeping with other people. sura is his captor and abuser. they are not in a consensual relationship. and sleeping with multiple people (but remember redhead raped choa) if you are not in a relationship deserves NO criticism - or are we still in the purity-centric culture of the 1950s?
another commentor made a brilliant observation that all those criticising choa want to live vivaciously through him, fuck sura and be in a happy relationship with him. sura being a rapist/psychopath and choa behaving like many a victim of sexual abuse ruins that fantasy.
