Dude I’m with Regina if I thought I was finna die I ain’t asking questions I would just be outta there but yeah us readers obviously see he’s starting to like her and communication on his part would be key to make her feel safe
But it's not like he knows she knows a possible future from the book either. Communication is both ways and more than just words and Arsene's actions till now have been implicitly conveying his intentions for her. Not that I don't think he is as clear as can be, I just think both need to communicate. Ugh I just hate this trope so much, they always make the characters unable to function like adults in communication but somehow they are all still high functioning people
I agree what I meant was I think he should start talking straight and blunt enough so she can start opening up but I’m with you about this troupe sometimes I wanna strangle the characters when there’s a bunch of misunderstandings and no communication it’s like come on before we teleport into the world and take over
I totally understand Regina's struggles to understand Arsene's feelings, but she should've at least ask abt his actions properly... Or Arsene should try to figure out what his feelings to Regina is and tell her probably.
At this point, I just want the Empress to stab Arsene and let him die in Regina's arm while confessing his feelings or smth. Like, URGH, this miss communication is giving me so many headaches.
