Right? I always think why is it so? They are the source of illegal reads before the chaps get translated. Also I don't understand one person might buy few Mangas/hwas at one time but for everything else they read they do it illegally. Otherwise you are not even an avid reader of manga. Plus these sites actually make the international reader community noted about some new manga coming otherwise half of us won't even know these unpopular Mangas. And then from here some people go buying. Also say you are a strictly legal reader who don't know the language. You can't expect one to buy the raws (for those Mangas/hwas which are not translated) and not expect to find some translation online to actually understand what it says. So taking it out on the translators who are only bridging the gap btw your intl readers and your work sounds riddiculuous to me. Just my opinion tho.
But you know...one thing I've observed is that the authors dont call out the illegal korean sites where these webtoon are uploaded. Those sites still exist and are updated as soon as a chapter comes out...
