The chances of authors not knowing about their work being uploaded illegal (on whatever site) are pretty low, because u can literally find almost anything illegally... I think majority just treats it as free promotion because if people like your work they will support u 90% of the time (buying merch, physical copies or just manga/manhwa chapters when they have the money for it)
Don’t make fun of the author or call her bitch for trying to get her work down cause any author would wanna do that. But her way of asking to take it down and stuff is no way acceptable cause she’s trying to dox people
