Why does he keep calling her unnie?
Shouldn't he call her noona?

    But "unnie / eonni" it's a honorific we as a woman use to called a woman older than us. If a boy/man called an older Woman as "eonni" of course it's sounds weird, they should use "noona" instead ^^

    it is. But i'm not good at explaining things since i'm not fluent in english. In Korea, we have different way to called people depending on our gender (i don't know why it's sounds weird when i say this)

    Boy call an older woman: Noona (누나)
    Boy call an older man: Hyung (형)
    Girl call an older woman: Eonni (언니)
    Girl call an older man: Oppa (오빠)
