Probably! But I think there's no "correct" degree if you want to be a secretary. You have to check the program and the courses offered to see if you really want to study it. Also you might want to check majors like management, business, commerce, communication, and accounting. If this is a bachelor degree (I assume) I'd say pick the major with the widest opportunity as you'll never know what will happen in the future.
You can also try to go to a job search websites and look for what qualifications needed for a secretary position.
