I don’t think gege akutami meant it that way, he could just be killing off characters bc they won’t be needed in the next arc/part of the story or to make the reactions of the characters more dramatic. Like the backlash that yuuji n the sorcerers faced after the shibuya incident n how if gojo gets out of the prison realm how his reaction would be n how that would affect the story
I can sense now that the author indeed wanted to finish this series as fast as posible because he's been killing a lot of characters with big roles....I wish it doesn't end quickly though, I still want to know Sakuna's past when he was still a sorcerer, and I want more plot twist and villains to pop up ┗( T﹏T )┛
