wait how can this category to pedophile or grooming him? when he doesn't have any sexual desire for him as a child. he's like companion to him. he didnt view him with lust. its like a cat companion for me. he also didn't treat him as his child, sibling or anything. also that child choose to hang out to his house after he trespass and that child want to be friends with him NOT HIM. so the writers didn't have hidden agenda when that child trespass to his house like baiting him to come and make him stay to do sexual assault when they met. that child, he always go there on his own that he start to accept him coming in and out thats why it become normal thing to him when he is around and feel sad when he is not. u see he is a loner person.that why he gonna have that sad reaction or missing feeling when someone always there and gave a noisy vibes in your silence home. btw he didnt see him grow up ryt. . the only thing they got interaction is when the first time they met and several time that child go on his house before he got transfer (maybe they know each other a few months or half yr range thats because his feature where he still a child didn't change. nor the year change )
btw. there is a different type of like/love . not all like or love are the same as lust that on ur mindset.
this is far more decent to some age gap story between a child and adult. some story like this have a guy who have a desire for a child before they met or become attracted to a "child(not adult) " after they met. also some who touch the below and upper part of the child which never happen in here..

remember this is japanese. some scene are limited or become rush coz they have limited scene or panel to put on or the editor choose to cut some part, u need to use ur mind to make the story connected or understand each of it and their line and pov. also, just because its alrdy translated in eng doesn't mean that's what the context of what the author mean in their story. not all eng translation are exact words that author want to convey on his works.. some make it so simple to make us understand who doesn't understand Japanese or exaggerated the translate which doesnt go with the flow of the story that u can misunderstood..
u need to have an open mind when reading something like this than being a narrow minded person who can only know one thing or another to find fault than to understand. u can also make ur own search so u understand whats that word really is before u told it to others. its better to search than being ignorant and narrow minded.
