MC probably had some connection to the teacher who died. Either brother or husband/boyfriend. And the minister is either his dad or his father-in-law (teacher's dad).

I don't remember it being mentioned anywhere that it was his sister. He just said he was in mourning.
He calls the minister "dad" but they all have different surnames, plus the minister was like "what dad?", or something like that, I assumed either he is an actual dad or the guy is used to calling him "dad".
I really wish the author continue with the same pace. I really don't want some tragic backstory of your main leads. They tends to get boring after some times.
