Thank you! Like they are acting okay now but they abused her so much as a KID. The fact that the father could ignore the abuse being done to a child and the brothers felt it was okay to harass someone younger then them is disgusting. Also they still haven't apologized correctly. They don't even understand how bad their actions were. I'm glad she doesn't just forgive and forget.
She leaves the dukedom because she is uncomfortable about the fact that she killed the real daughter (body; not the soul cuz' she was dead ages ago). The Duke thanks her for finally setting his daughter free.
They may not be that close but I know the duke and Leonard dotes on her and the Crown Prince's kids. They love them a lot. The black-haired brother though, it seems he doesn't interact with her that much. I still don't get his deal. There's a special chapter dedicated for him but I haven't read it in its entirety so I can't say for certain how he viewed Penelope
FUNNY TIDBIT: When the Duke found out that Penelope got pregnant out of wedlock, he was furious and was ready to raid the palace and kill the Crown Prince. Hahahahah it took all of the subordinates' power to stop him.
