I get what youre saying but theyve known each other for 10 years and his sister is stefans best friend so I think they were close from the start they just bickered also stefan always had feelings for rand so I guess this works out you know?

Ugh, it’s that fast in the book too…. But that’s pretty standard for these pocket romances. The artist changed a lot of things but not the pace

I'm guessing that Rand already had intentions of getting on good terms with Stefan and pressue a romantic relationship. (love at first sight, denided it. got married, failed at the marriage. finally ready to addmit him feeling).

Stefan has said that Rand is his type. They had a bad relationship but he was not indiferente to him. Plus he is feeling lonely and shaked with the marriage of his best friend (only person he consideres family). I do think it makes sense for him welcome this relationship.

Yeye that might have something to do with it, but Stefan says how much he hates Rand in the first two ch's or smth. And how he doesn't even want Rand to be there for his sisters wedding.

That makes sense but still kinda too fast for an enemies to lovers in my taste. Cuz if Stefan was betrayed or kinda had a darker past it would make more sense to be more wary of people like Rand. And since he said Rand's his type, I would expect him to want to have more of a sexual or physical relationship with Rand, instead Stefans kinda acting like he's head over heels for Rand.

According to novel, rand’s been in love with Stefan for years. They even have a fight where Rand asks why Stefan didn’t call him for help and when Stefan says “because we’re not friends” rand goes ape shit because he was “play fighting him” apparently and had thought himself as a friend of stefans in extension to his sister for the last 10 years
