The imperial family has a lot of power so if he and Aria have evidence that they eloped together on their "secret vacation" some people will have no choice but to believe him. To further that even if no one believes that they were on their vacation if the Count manages to wake up he can testify about Mielle, although I don't know if he would do that. I honestly think he'd just wake up in too much shock (if he doesn't have that amnesia bs) about how his daughter, who doesn't share a drop of blood with him, tried to save him from falling whereas his blood related daughter was the one to push him. Honestly feel bad for they guy, even if he isn't the best stepfather. Hope he survives (like he's not killed by his own blood related daughter) so Asher and Aria have a back up plan. I'm also sort of concerned though, high society is powerful and sometimes even the imperial family can't manage what's being said, so people might just think Aria is actually a villainess (she is doe, title says it all). Although Aria also has a reputation for being a generous person so some people might question that. Crap, I don't know what will happen. I spent my last 2 brain cells thinking about this.
