Yes, he survives but the fall left him in poor condition and the older brother was left to take care of everything (the family business(es) fall into ruin btw cuz he's incompetent af). Aria and Asher are gonna make it seem like they were off on vacation at the time of the incident and will used credit receipts as evidence.
Yup but he’s in critical condition for a while. Eventually he regains consciousness and knows what mielle is- a psychopath. He doesn’t cover for her anymore. Pretty much the only one who even mildly cares about the dad is Aria’s mom.

So how mielle's scheme will uncover? I mean how Aria will frame mielle for all her wrongdoing.. can you spoiler a bit details?
Basically they go to trail, Aria and Asher win and they manage to put Mielle behind bars. They make it seem like they where on a trip when the crime happened using people like the nobleman in the previous chapter and the IOU Aria asked him to write out as evidence therefore exposing Mielle's lie and how she pushed the Count herself. Not only that because she says that she saw Asher suddenly appear and then disappear with Aria they accuse her of the additional crime of doing drugs.

Things unraveled on their own and all fingers pointed to Mielle. One of Mielle's "witnesses" became nervous and when it became apparent that Aria didn't do it the witness said something along the lines of possibly confusing Aria with someone else with blonde hair (who else with blonde hair besides Aria would have been able to push the count from the 3rd floor? <_<). Then the witnesses cracked under pressure, said Mielle made th lie, etc lol. In the end Mielle was sentenced to....I think 20 years of imprisonment in her room for attempted murder. But she didn't carry out the sentence, she ended up "escaping" (Aria let her run away).

Mielle runs off to the neighboring kingdom with that princess to overthrow the empire. Turns out Asher n the king were working together, everyone except Mielle n the brother were executed. Aria convinced them to not execute Mielle and she's sentence to 50 years in prison instead (the brother became a servant at the Imperial palace and the count is sent to a medical facility). Aria had Annie repeal for Mielle in her name, Mielle became a servant at Aria's mother's new mansion and she's under Annie's control (Annie could send her back to prison whenever she wants). Aria convinces Mielle that she forgives her and gains Mielle's trust at the same time Annie is harassing and humiliating Mielle regularly. Mielle wants revenge and Aria convinces her to put poison in Annie's tea cup. When they gather for tea Aria "accidentally" spills Annie's tea on Annie. While Mielle helps Annie change clothes, the brother arrives for tea after being invited by Aria. When Annie n Mielle returns, Mielle sees her brother drinking out of Annie's poisoned cup. While he's dying Mielle cries why did Aria let him drink from the cup that she knew Mielle had poisoned for Annie in front of everyone. Aria pretends that she has no idea what Mielle is talking about.
The brother dies right there on the spot after being poisoned by his own sister.
Mielle is accused of trying to kill Aria, trailed for killing a servant of the imperial palace and attempted murder. She's decapitated.
As for the count, with both of his children dead, no money, no wife, he ends up committing suicide in the medical facility.
Yes, I love the way Aria ended things. Right before Mielle is decapitated Aria goes to see her in prison, and basically admits that everything that happened she had planned out because of how Mielle persecuted her in their past life.
We all knew from chapter 1 that Aria was gonna have her executed but I did not expect her to carry things out this way, I could never guess what her next move would be. She is indeed far from being the typical revenge seeking protagonist
can u say if they try to use the broken bracelet as a sort of excuse for aria being there idk if this made sense
They did, but they refute it by saying it's not actually hers. I don't remeder how but they get two new ones. One for Aria to show she still has hers, and another to show that it's something that can be easily obtained meaning Mielle got one just like it so that she could say it was Aria's.

I've read the book so I can say with certainty that they'll be fine. Aria and Asher manage to work things out and not only that they turn things in their favor. When I think about it this scene can be considered what kick starts Aria's ultimate revenge. Simply put Aria isn't like most other revenge seeking protagonists, who's revenge only amounts to some half baked plan or just barley punishes the people who made them suffer. She completely ruins and annihilates her enemies, in fact she doesn't miss a single person. From here on out shit's about to get really real.
