Ahyoung also NEVER SPOKE TO SORA before sora said she had a boyfriend so to me her only real interest was the fact that sora had a BF and not sora herself ie a gossip groupie sorry that is just my take on her character
Nah Ahyoung was curious about Sora beforehand but Sora was isolated from her class because of Jaein.
Ahyoung just got excited about the lie that Sora has a boyfriend because it made Ahyoung feel like she was a normal girl like the rest of them rather than a standoffish top scoring student.
Ahyoung has every right to be mad at sora, after all sora lied to her about 90%. Ahyoung just wanted to be sora friend she could rely on and hang out with but sora lied to her about so much.
At the same time sora had her reasons but she didn't need to fake saying she had a boyfriend and other things instead of telling Ahyoung the truth. Ahyoung doesn't seem like the person to hate people for not having a boyfriend.
Honestly this is a hard decision but at the end of the day sora is the reason this happened because she lied instead of being honest. Even now she lied to Haena about everything going good with her friends.
