It's the landlady who SA the MC. The mother saw it so she attacked the landlady which caused bleeding and led to her death. The MC married Xu Kuye as a deal to get his mother out from jail as she was sentenced to life in prison. MC had no power or resources to get his mother out at all. Also... He lived with another molester who was his adopted mother. Later he met a man who said he can help his mother in prison if he paid money. He was conned into having sex with this guy and his adopted mother was secretly filming him. He saw the spy cam and sold his videos to the adopted mother and gave the money to the conman who said he'll help his mother in prison. The man ran off with the money. Poor MC.
If there was no Xu Kuye there was no deal to get his mother out so that's the plot lol. It's pretty stupid bcuz spoiling a mentally ill patient doesn't really solve shit but yeah. All for the plot.
As for the ML he's dumb and didn't realize he has fallen in love at first sight.

he's stupid to spoil her than to bring her to the hospital. this will only bring harm to her after she got cure and she know that they only married for some deal and not because he love her. there's a high risk that she want to do some suicide attempt especially if they divorced. i feel sorry for the uke. he still got trauma in his body from childhood , he have problem related to his mom, the sexual attempt and skinship of this girl that trigger some of his trauma but because he can't push her away because they have a deal for his mom. he need to overcome it. whenever i see her doing some skinship while knowing that he has trauma gave me chills and goosebumps. liek "move ur hands gurl" sorry i cant liek his sister.. i dont like the position they put him. getting married and entertain his sister. whenever that girl is near. i can't pity her. i feel suffocated.
