I think the father in "Actually, I was the real one" is much worse that the father on this story,From wut I've read on novel forum.
Rly? I think somehow in the "Actually, I was the real one" the father felt guilty and he did change his emotions in fl's second life(tho i still hate him lol) like he's starting to acknowledge that there's something wrong and he didn't beat her once(except for the guillotine part lol) but here, the father felt no remorse. He's just continuously using adele for the sake of his image and his treatment was soooo bad even in the second life. He didn't even thought twice even after knowing tht something's change bout her, he didn't feel any guilt. That's why if i'm gonna choose from the two, it's the former rather than the latter. Adele's father is just a piece of shit that deserves to die along with the whole family ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Keira's father wasn't feeling remorse in any way. He was just surprised that she was acting different. I do look the surprised look he made when he came to that realization though.
At first I thought this story would be like "Actually, I was the real one" where the father would regret his choices when his daughter started acting different towards him but thank god it's not cause i don't want to feel any sympathy towards the duke's family (〜￣△￣)〜
It was a tad confusing at first read too, but once you get used to the flow of the story, it progresses well. Also, i wavered a bit towards kuarin(?) but still i think whatever excuse he had, it's still not enough reason to be shitty towards Adele when they were growing up. The love triangle was a bit unnecessary tho, it would have been fine without the 'childhood friend' second ml LOL waiting for more progress with Adele and Hexion (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
