Don't think he died, but was extremely injured, and pretty sure he got the pearl back.
Like ZipporahRaven said, I don't believe he died. Rather, and like you said, he used a form that was not physical. His body has almost shut itself down in order to give itself time to heal. Meanwhile he's in spirit form as it's most convenient.
I mean did he somehow get revived or is he the same as Ishuca 's grandmother and the demon who can show up from time to time but don't have a real physical body ? (as in they're dead)
Because he obviously died before, but he came back in the last fact and helped Ishuca and blood, and seeing as he is one of the most powerful 4 demons, I kept thinking that when Wild gave him back his life source (the jewel thing) that was stolen from him before, I thought he might've came back to life (?)
