I haven't read any novel of this is even based on a novel but it's obvious the emperor is the ML and that is why I went from being excited about this yo reading one chapter in every 20 chapters and nothing changes.
The MC and emperor should not be together. I don't care if br is hurt and has a bad past or if he suspected her despite loving her....none of that matters, ehat matters is that their relationship was never healthy and it has been 3 life times already. Maybe it's time to call the time of death on this relationship and move on. I would've loved it if, after all these shenanigans she had to endure in more than one life time, she gets to live somewhere peacefully away from the palace, marry a simple man and raise some kids which she couldn't do before.
