Its just how it is.Living a life where she constantly felt Inferior to her sister took a huge hit on her after her sister died.She blamed herself for her sister's death.But really she just didn't want to embarrass her sister thinkin people might make fun of her sister for having such an ugly sibling.Now from what we see its obvious Hee-Jin wasn't like that.But living in the shadows of someone causes the person to feel insecure bout themselves especially if its someone related to you.Some Neighbor won't mind her own business with her/his big mouth and start saying"Omo you look so pretty compared to your lil sister" Now that isn't what a child should hear at a young age.It reminds me of True Beauty(Its both a webtoon and now a K-drama if y'all know it) So True Beauty has almsot the same concept as this story actually its a lot like it.True Beauty's FL "was" also insecure bout her looks now for her she grew up hearing nasty words bout her looks and shit even her own family(not her parents and siblings) It was either the aunt or the Grandpa who said it but ya. She was also bullied as well at school except for her she had literally everyone in the school scoff at her.Lit nu one liked her!Until she went into the new school.But for me what makes meh completely mad is what people see as pretty.Ok yes you have nice plump lips or somethin a nice booty nice boobs too lmao but in this world its like you gotta have all those features to be called pretty and even then people will try to find somethin bad about you like say "Oh wow she took plastic surgery" Or "She definitely Photo shopped that" So people always tryna find any flaw to judge. So its really not her fault for being dis insecure to this extent.But I can't agree with you that she's Impulsive, I mean from my perspective I think she handles things way to well. Like she's so paranoid and insecure she acts way too fast
