the reason why “lard” is conrad’s nickname has to do with the romanization of how conrad’s name is spelled. i don’t exactly know the korean spelling of conrad’s name, but since the language is phonetic, it should be something like 콘라드 (kon-ra-deu). and the last two syllables is 라드 (ra-deu). but, the ㄹ letter is a mix between an R and an L when actually pronounced. so technically conrad’s nickname is rad/lad which is equally as weird as lard (the r in lard is most likely an interpretation of a silent r in korean, which is rarely ever pronounced)

    LMAO the “ape” could be pronounced “ah-peh” too, which means “in front” in korean…. not necessarily saying that conrad is a monke….
