Well, its indeed seme fault for ignoring him, but for the bullying its not really his fault cause he didn't tell them to bully or hurt him, he just decided to ignore.

When mu approached him, yuan initially treated him with disgust (the perfume scene which yuan says stinks) which caused his friends to bully him and the other students to ignore him cause of how influential yuan is.
