Ok so I'm not rlly sure if it's true or not since I'm still reading the novel version but I saw somewhere that Elijah was also reincarnated just like Arthur and before in their past life they were best friends or something and king grey(aka Arthur) had killed or like stole
elijahs love IDK something like that and I think later in the comic Elijah will remember and then he'll hate Arthur

King grey didn’t particularly killed that person, the person did it intentionally (of their own will) but Elijah’d past life never lived with that
