dark dude fell in love with the prince when they were kids and the dark dude saw the prince playing in a field of flowers. the country the prince is from is very poor so the queen tricked her son into leaving the country under the guise of a 'study abroad trip' to learn about the world, in reality the queen sold her son's body for the night to the highest bidder which was dark dude. queen sold her son because they needed money for nii-san's coronation.
the body guard in all of this is also in love with the prince and supports him even though he knows the prince is being raped for money.
